DIY Wilderness Survival Drill

With a drill bit and piece of scrap pipe you can make a light-weight drill to take with you on your wilderness excursions. This can come in handy for bushcrafting, making shelters, and other wilderness tinker projects.

It’s as simple as welding the bit to the pipe. Make sure to use a pipe big enough to get a stick through to use for leverage.

I’ve been wanting to make one of these for a while and with the new series of #Alone being so good, I was inspired.

I’ve applied for that show a few times now. Hopefully one of these days I’ll get picked up to test my skills on the big stage. Until then I’ll be showcasing some survival related projects on my channel here.
