DIY Egg Incubator Video

In this video I show you the DIY egg incubator I use for hatching quail and chicken eggs. This modified cardboard box incubator has successfully hatched both types of birds.

Pretty fun experiment. Low cost as well. Total build cost was less than $40.

Whether you want meat as part of your prepper resources, or to replace the red meat from your diet to have less of an environmental footprint, this project could be handy.

I wanted to establish some sustainable meat sources that didn’t require a lot of property.

This project was prior to buying the land for a homestead. I had seen some information online about people raising quail as a meat source as they didn’t require as much space as chickens.
