Quail Eggs!

The quails laid their first egg this week. They are approximately 7 weeks old. Over the next several days they laid a total of 10 eggs. You can see here they are much smaller than a chicken egg.

I fried half of them, hard-boiled the other five, and shared them with my friends. They taste like small chicken eggs.

The next step is to build an incubator for them so that we can hatch the eggs in the future.
