While I try to water my plants regularly, I figured I’d remove the chance for human error out of the equation and give them some extra pseudo sunlight.
Here’s how it works:
I fill the bucket on the right with rain water from my rain barrels outside. It will automatically disperse the water every 3 days through the drip system. The light is scheduled to automatically turn on for an hour each night to give the plants some extra light until the summer sun decides to finally join us.
In case you were wondering, I’m growing dwarf bananas, oranges, lemons, limes, coffee, and there is a mini rose bush.
